Colour: Warm honey Nose: An expressive funkiness that resonates with some people as overripe, bruised pineapple but with others as fresh bicycle tires and Plimsoll shoes fresh from the box. Note, too, acacia, lanolin, and beeswax candles Palate: The expressive funkiness of the nose is much tempered on the palate. The fruitiness (guava paste and dried mango) is to the front but there’s abundant rich, black licorice and dark roasted coffee beans to the rear Finish: The licorice and coffee bean notes from the rear of the palate stick around right through the finish as the palate quietly dries
