Nose: Initially the nose is rich and floral but there’s a lingering smokiness like a burnt wood, like the end of a beach bonfire.
Palate: The palate is punchy and brings more of the smoky, burned wooden f lavour. Before long we arrived with sour cherries dominating the fruit profile, joined by hints of cranberry, underripe plum, and a faint touch of medicinal iodine
Finish: Long and warming, with the peat smoke slowly fading into dark cherry skins, cocoa nibs, and a touch of leather. The sour cherry note lingers with a tart dryness that invites another sip.
